PolicyTALKS: Corporate Fair Share
Description
With federal funding cuts imminent, we must come together to fill potentially devastating budget gaps in healthcare and to other critical public services in Massachusetts. Generating significant new revenue at the state level is required to reduce harm to communities across the Commonwealth.
Join us for the first PolicyTALKS, where we will discuss current efforts to improve corporate tax fairness - how can the Commonwealth get billionaire corporations to pay their fair share? Learn how Massachusetts could curtail tax avoidance by billionaire corporations, generate hundreds of millions annually and make our tax structure more equitable for small, local businesses.
